Kids' Clubs
The Kids' Clubs cater for children at pre-school and primary levels.
The goal is to provide a positive first encounter with the English language and to ensure children feel:
"I can learn English and it's fun!"
· Small groups of children speak, sing and play in English.
· Lively English stories are told and the new language is rehearsed through games and role-play.
· The children engage with written English for the first time through games such as BINGO or TIPTOI. Vocabulary learning exercises are playfully introduced for familiar words.
· Game suggestions from the children themselves are very welcome.
English Tutoring
English Tutoring is usually offered on a one-to-one basis. The goal is to achieve a positive attitude towards English and to ensure pupils feel:
"I'm already making significant
progress in English."
I remain up-to-date with current school books and relevant additional materials. I have also developed and collected my own materials for certain key topics:
· English word order
· The tenses
· English phonetics
· Writing texts
Other topics, which go beyond the knowledge of English, are often dealt with:
· Well-organised learning
· Effective learning strategies
at home
· Communication with teachers
Professional-English Coaching
Coaching helps participants to build up a good working knowledge of English as well as specifically developing the language to be used in typical work situations (spoken or written).
Particular learning behaviours are trained so that participants are in a position to drive their own learning after the end of the course. Participants develop confidence in using English at work and feel:
"I am more effective in particular situations
and I know how I can learn more."
